Absolute Accounting

Basic Navigation

The Main Menu is the core of Absolute Accounting. All screens have a link back to it.

Graphic Symbols

“Hot Button” (Left or Right) Clicking on this will navigate you to the item indicated. For example if it’s pointing to an Invoice number, it will take you to that invoice.

“Expand Button” Clicking on this will show you more information than you are currently viewing. For example, if you are looking at a summarized aging, clicking on the “Expand Button” will show you the detailed aging.

“Collapse Button” The opposite of the “Expand Button”. Clicking on this will show you data in a more summarized view than the current screen.”

"Move Arrows” These arrows move transactions from one window to another.

Printing

Typically, clicking on a pink “Print” button will print a report based on the current view. If you are looking at a summarized view, it will print a summarized report; if you are looking at a detail view, it will print a detail report. For convenience, some view have separate buttons to print either a detailed or summarized report - these are clearly labeled. Unless otherwise indicated, all reports preview on screen, before printing with print dialogs. THE EXCEPTION to this are the financial statements. Clicking “Print” (as opposed to “Print/Preview”) will print Statements directly with no dialog.
