Contact Integration is done through a filter file: Contacts (Contact_Import_Abs.fp5) The integration files are not password protected, and can be programmed by third party programmers. The Contact filter provides a merge import into the Absolute Accounting Contact file. This allows you to maintain one contact file, and seamlessly have the changes flow through to the accounting system. To do this you need to create a set of calculation or input fields named EXACTLY as specified and point the Import From Business System script in Contact_Import_Abs.fp5 to do a Matching Name import from your contact file. You also must track the modification date in your contact file. Each time you want to update contact information, you must find contact records with a modification date and time later than the last merge session, and then trigger the Import From Business System in Contact_Import_Abs.fp5. The Import filter will do the rest - all of your contact information will be in sync. This process can also be used to bring initial Contact information when first configuring Absolute Accounting.
